I was trying to comment on the thread about Nespresso machines. When clicked onto the thread you just get a box about car car leasing on the HJ site. Don't know what is going on.

Anyway, We had a Nespresso machine and it was fine. A bit small if there are a few wanting coffee at the same time. We found the pods were getting expensive, even through other online suppliers rather than Nestle. Also disposing of the pods is a pain. One website used to take them back for recycling but they stopped that. We now have a De Longhi machine. We fill the water reservoir and it is good for quite a few cups. Also we put beans into the hopper at the top and it grinds them as needed. Makes great coffee and you can select the strength. Espresso, Americano etc. and it does two cups at once if you wish. It also has a milk steamer if required, great machine, and coffee beans are cheaper to buy, especially abroad. But on the whole for the occasional cup for one or two the Nespresso does the job, for a price.
