Jaguar XF 2.2d Sport 2012 - CTEK 7 Trickle Charger - Terry Barrow

I want to buy a trickle charger. From reviews, a CTEK charger, due to my stop start failing to come on. Jaguar service said the battery condition is not up to it's optimum state due to my low mileage use each month. It does sit on my drive for days sometimes. My question is that I have and not sure if the MXS 7 is the correct one for my car or the MXS 10. Any ideas on this please. Thanks, Terry.

Many, maybe most, cars with stop-start use an AGM battery which needs a specific charging regime which many chargers don't provide - check carefully.

No problem with these . C-tek are market leaders and quality product. Bentley supply one of these in the boot , with their own label on it.

Agreed - I have had/used one for years now.

MXS5 ,7 or 10 are all ok for your car.

The number at the end just signifies the chargers maximum output.

But as you will be just using it to top up the battery it won't matter.
