Yes, i know, but my points still stand. There just isn't the market for that here. If you look on Ebay, you may find some Chinese products (as they are also a predominantly auto driving nation), but the quality is likely to be poor. You could get something like this,

which, in theory, would work, but i'd be very reluctant to use something which did away with the button lock. This is there to prevent things like shifting into reverse while driving, shifting into drive or reverse while parked, etc. If you were prepared to spend a bit of money, you could possibly get something of a higher quality, with the button lock, which could work. I did find a US site with some fancy looking stuff, including this MOMO one, but its pricey, and of course you'd need to get it sent here!,
