I’ve just had my 2011 CR-V serviced and the stroke sensor arm was found seized. They want £263 to fix it. I’ve never met one of these before so what I want to know is why won’t a drop of WD40 do the job. Is £263 reasonable? And how easy is it to replace myself if necessary?
Thanks

If the sensor is seized, then I would assume that the auto level system is inoperative. Which part is seized, the electronic sensor part or the linkage? You may be able to free it off , but very often the plastic/metal ball joints snap off when trying. Tbh, that part does not sound too expensive for a Honda.

Thank for that. Will try over the weekend.
