I notice some new "blue" diesel cars are having the "urea" tank put in what was previously the spare wheel well. Leaving only enough space for a space saver, where previous cars of the same model could fit full size spares in there.

Another force against proper spare wheels in the world will lead to many more problems when people have flat tyres.
