The centre digital display in the middle of the speedo cluster for mileage etc. has just gone blank with just the back light working any suggestions please

Just noticed radio works with backlight but know digital info ie stations

Firstly, check fuses in the cabin fusebox, behind the glovebox. If they check out ok, then I would disconnect the battery for 5 mins.
