Ford Ka 1.3 Duratec 2003 - Engine not firing up - Tricky54

My mothers Ka won't fire up. It has been standing for 9months in her dry garage. It has had a battery conditioner connected to maintain the battery. It started and ran perfectly 9 months previously. It now cranks over on the starter healthily but no signs of life at all. There is plenty of fuel in the tank. Any suggestions on likely causes and how to diagnose/check it out please

have you got break down home start ? if so give them a call and ask for help

9 month old fuel will not help as it is not formulated for long storage. You could try a squirt of EasyStart into the air intake, might fire up on that.
