Citroen Xsara - Clock/Radio Screen Backlight - Citroenia

Hi,

My car is a 2002 Citroen Xsara. A few weeks ago one of the bulbs in the backlight for the radio/clock display blew.

I lifted the display unit out of the dash and changed the bulb. When I put the unit back in, none of the bulbs were working.

I have tried to check the wiring to see if I disturbed anything, but everything looks fine.

All the other dash lights are working, and the information still displays on the screen so I'm confident its not a fuse.

Anyone have any experience of this?

I would re-check the bulbs. Very often when the display is moved, it upsets the bulb filaments.

Thank you, you were correct. Not sure of the science behind it, but all three bulbs had blown at once.
