SEAT LEON - New Seat Leon - Build/Delivery Date Confirmation S - offshore

Hi,

I ordered a new Leon about 7 or 8 weeks ago.

I was told the waiting time to receive the car would be around 10 or 12 weeks.

I contacted the dealer about 3 weeks ago, who was a bit vague and sort of said no new update on delivery.

Should I have received a specific build date and delivery time by now? Is the dealer being a bit vague on purpose or is this standard with Seat?

This is the first time I have bought a brand new car, so a bit in the dark myself. Any advice please. Thanks

Depends on spec, engine etc.

I wanted 150Tsi but they would not do a deal.
They tried to push me into a 1.4 125bhp.
Which is a decent engine but wanted the 150.
Aparantly it’s in short supply. It is a brilliant engine though.

I’m not aware of any delays with the 1.2 or 1.4 125 Bhp

I got a six month old ex demo 1.4 150Tsi for6k less than lost.

Than list!

Seat dealers are not renowned for being the best.
Maybe being a bit relaxed about it!

I use Riverside in Hull who I cannot fault.

If you find a good seat dealer near your home, you have done well.
