2009 1.2 seat Ibiza--facelift model - Aux input socket - scrumpyjax

Hi---I have to replace the aux socket in my sons car-- can anyone tell me how to get the switch panel by the gear stick out without taking the whole centre console apart? Silly place to put an aux socket imo.:-)

Not too sure on this model,but unclip/lift gear shift gaitor should give you some access to the clip out panel.

Thanks--- I'll have to see if I can reach from there.... Depends how its fastened in,can't tell from th outside.The switch panel looks like it could be prised out but if I mess his car up I'm a dead dad.:-((
