Hi all right will a 2009 2.0 tdci 6 spd mondeo gearbox fit a 2013 2.2 tdci mondeo engine?

Why fit an older gearbox in the car. Surely there are plenty of 2013 Mondeo TDCi in breakers. Not a rare are are they.

Because I already have a reconditioned 6 spd box and was going to buy a 2013 mondeo advertised on auto trader with a knackered box for £3500 but it has sold now but thanks anyway
