I wondered if anyone could help please as I am at a loss !!

I have a 04 Focus 1.8 TDCI - 51k miles and couple of weeks ago the EML light came on and car kept cutting out and eventually stopped completely. The fault code suggested low pressure on fuel system and I got the fuel pump replaced.

Seemed ok then the turbo went and wouldnt kick in, sluggish so replaced turbo, hoses etc.

Now the glow plug light has started flashing after 30 miles since the above work - every now and again and the power dropped twice in 15 miles (doesnt cut out) and it doesnt seem like the turbo is kicking in sometimes. When you switch the engine off and back on it starts and everything seems ok !!

Could this be the EGR ?? What would anyone recommend as its a lovely car but cant keep replacing parts with it being this old !

Random electrical problems. First thing I'd check is the age of the car battery.

Thanks - I will get it checked.

Forgot to add above the glow plug lught starts to flash tehn it goes into limp mode. Turn off and on again and it starts fine, no glowplug light and not in limp mode for a while !!
