fod focus - focus tdci engine system fault - dan85bak

hi I've recent brought a focus tdci, and after a couple of days I've had a message saying engine system fault. and has gone into limp mode. I've been advised it could be the glow plugs?? just wondered if anybody has had this problem? thanks

The best advice is get it scanned.

I very much doubt a fault glow plug/s would throw up an engine malunction msg.

Age and engine size would help. Failed glow plugs on the Lynx 1.8 tdci engine will limit performance to around 3000 rpm.
