Battery size question - macski

It does not matter if the size of the batteriy is larger then original as long as it fits and is 12V, right?

Shouldn't be a problem, in fact if the capacity is higher is should last longer as its not being worked so hard.

I always try to get the highest capacity battery for the vehicle in question, both CCA and AH figures, battery for the Diesel version sometimes fits, as Peter.N says the more powerful battery has an easier life.

If your car is post 2012 with an engine stop/start device (to allegedly save fuel) then you might want to double check with the manufacturer regarding the type of battery required
