No suprise

its over priced with no decent discounts available

Compared to the new Insignia which is very impressive for a Vauxhall, the Mondeo is overtly expensive.

Build quality is questionable, especially component quality

I agree. When looking around last year I went to drive a Kuga. Looked at a Mondeo estate with a good trim level but the price!!! Wow. Surprised to say the least. When I expressed an interest but expected a large discount I was greeted with less than enthusiasm. Didn't go for either in the end.

What a great shame if rumours are true. Having owned 6 Mondeo vehicles, I will never find anything that matches its elegance, durability or superb design

Nothing will replace it for me.
