Which is the best and safest product to use when cleaning electrical contacts.

I do have WD40 but do not know if this may do more harm that good.

It may leave a residue.

Thanks for the replies.

I found some Solv-Tech Contacta Clean, safety electrical cleaner that I did not know I had.

Says it is a non corosive degreaser, safe on plastics, non flammable, rapid evaporation, leaves no residue.
