Hyundai IX35 5dr 2.0 Crdi Premium 2WD Year 2011 - Hyundai Transponder Fob - richard price

Lost the fob (transponder) but key stll on bunch. Contacted local dealershipnear to me in Bognor Regis, quoted to replace transponder fob and code to vehicle a staggering total of £466.73 inc VAT (the fob was £412.03), would have been more but luckily stll have the key that fits inside the fob carcass so no cutting required. Anybody else had the same issue and if so what did you do??, any advice most welcome. Thank you.

No idea whether there's a cheaper answer to your problem but I used a mobile auto locksmith a couple of years ago to re-program the keys for a Punto we had.

Can recommend Darren on 07818 215683. We're not far from you so I guess he would cover your area. Worth a call to see if you have other options. No connection with this chap other than as a satisfied customer.

Please report back.

Sounds cheap to me .A friend lost the only key he had to his Lexus .Main dealer quoted over £2k to fix it. Luckily he managed to find a local auto locksmith that did the job for around £400..Unfortunately this is one of the pleasures of owning a modern car full of electronics.
