landrover freelander - fault code - frogmarch

Hi my mate has got a 2004 landrover freelancer td4 2.0 and he has eml light on , put fault code reader on and came up with fault code p0430 catalyst emission bamk 2 had look on net and says oxygen senor or cat but this model of freelancer does not have o2 sensors what else could it be thanks

You are going to need a better scanner.Diesel cars of this age (generally pre-2005 ) are not eobd compliant and so any happy shopper scanning device will not give accurate infomation.

Hi thanks for reply got a autel eu702 and it is quite a good one if not a 02 sensor I would think it is cat
