I have been told that I need a new indicator/wiper switch unit on my picasso. Unfortunately there are several different units for this model year, and I need the part number. Can this number be obtained by removing the co!umn shroud or does the steering wheel need to come off?

Post up thelast 8 digits of the VIN, and I will get the Citroen part number for it. However, this number does not necessarily correspond with the number written on the unit! I think the number on the unit may well be on the back, so the whole thing has to be removed to see it. What's wrong with it? There's a guy in Bradford can repair many of them quite cheaply.

Original part no 6239AV, now replaced by 6242c3. Dealer price £262.51 !!
