Renault megane 1.9 dci (1999-2002) - TDC/Crank sensor Location - KCSRenault

Hello,

Would anyone know where the Crank sensor is located on this engine, i believed it needs cleaned or replaced. As i have replaced glow plugs but car stills struggels to start etc. And everything obvious has been checked/replaced. Battery, glow plugs, filters etc.

The car has always been very reliable, so want it back that way.

Located on top of the gearbox,near flywheel .Very much doubt the sensor needs cleaning,but I would inspect the 2 pin connector and clean and tighten the connector pins.
