Peugeot 207 SW 09 Reg - When to change. cambelt - Steveieb
My partners 207 has done 50k and the recommended belt change is not until 80k.
Can this be right as the car is now seven years old ?

The car is a 1.4 petrol and the Vin is WF3 WE 8F
Not sure how you identify the engine code from this?
Can you explain please?

WF 3 WE 8 F SC 9 W then the last numbers.

An 8FS is a 16valve chain cam engine.Same as what is used in some Mini models.So no cam belt.Just make sure you do regular oil changes with the correct spec oil.

Its normally vissible at the bottom edge of the screen but its also on your V5C registration document.
