2009 ford focus - coolant cap - affleck

I was going to add some coolant to my car but when I unscrewed the coolant cap the centre piece stayed in the tank, what would be the easiest way to remove it and is the car safe to drive until I replace it. Assistance appreciated.

A gentle shift with a screwdriver should move it.if not ,screw the cap back on and take it to a local garage.

A dab of superglue on the end of something like a screwdriver (only a tiny bit tho' !)

and then touch that onto the offending part for a minute

It should do the trick by being sticking enough to pull it back up

Cheers

No idea.
I'd ring ford or a local motor factors, for clarification

Liam.
