Vauxhall Zafira - Welcome lights Vauxhall Zafira - Edward Wetton

Hi I am new to this site and I was wondering if anyone who can help me with this I have a 2008 1.9 CDTi Vauxhall Zafira I don't know how to get the welcome lights to come on when you push the remote key fob they did come on before but they don't now I was wondering if anyone could help many thanks eddie

I have read the manual and what you are referring to is called doorTwo Door lights which is totally different from the welcome lights which comes on when you open the car with the remote key fob and they stay on and when you lock the car they stay on for about half a minute to a minute for you to get to the house that is not covered by the manual the car went into the garage to have the rear view mirror activated and came out without the lights on I have been on to the garage and they don't know what has happened

Do you have automatic lights? If so, are the lights in the auto / off position rather than permanantly on? If permanently on then the welcome lights won't work

Also, not sure about the Zafira, but check the CONFIG menu on the buttons near the radio. It may be hidden in there (you'll need the ignition in the ACC position to see this menu). The menu is available on my Insignia, but as said not sure on the Zafira

yes it does have automatic lights but it still doesn't seem to be working and I have looked in the settings and I can't find it there

The rear view mirror is fine it's an automatic dimmer and it wasn't working I sent it back to the garage they got it working but the Welcome light witch come on when you push the remote key fob was not coming on after the car went back and they don't know why

Have you looked in all sub-menus?

On the Insignia it is under Comfort Settings > Exterior Ambient Lighting. It may be similar on the Zafira

Yes I have had a look in the book I can't find comfort settings and I have been through the book loads of times I honestly don't know what to do next I don't want to take it to Vauxhall because they will want mega Money

I don't think you'll find mention in the book.

I am not familiar with the Zafira dash, so have a look for the SETTINGS button on the radio. Try that. You may be able to find vehicle settings under that

I have had a look in the settings that's all it does is for the radio and language and things it doesn't actually cover the lighting I am really scratching my head at this
