Ford focus mk 3 - Boot leak - Bobellis

I have a 61 plate mk3 ford focus with a boot leak the side carpets in the boot are wet and the space saver tyre well holds water also when i lift the rear seats up the carpet underneath is damp. Anyone have any ideas where the leak is coming from pleeeeaaaase!!!

I'd guess I'd remove the rear light clusters and check the seals.

Cheers will check that at the weekend. Another problem i have with it is like the car wants to stall it will start to splutter and backfire but only does it once in a while and only in hot weather. Does'nt happen often but annoying when it does any help would be appreciated. Not very good mechanically more interior work for me.
