Quick message regarding a post from a couple of years ago with a slipping clutch at 35k the issue was traced to a faulty DMF and I paid for a new clutch to be fitted at the same time.

I'm now starting to wonder whether the clutch plate was actually replaced, 25k later the issue has arisen again.

Would a clutch plate typically have a manufacture date on it?
