Alternator belt snapped. I replaced this after about 50 miles. When i started car it seemed to rev faster on idle. Fuel problem developed where it seemed air in system? Engine dying then picking up again. Decided to change filter and now I cant get fuel to injector pump. I filled filter housing with diesel, pumped the system but still no fuel. Would there be a non return valve on fuel line? I can hear air coming out of first bleed screw on injector pump when I squeeze the balloon. Having to use pipe pliers as it is quite stiff to press!!
