Abarth 500 on 16" wheels
I know that you have frequently recommended the standard 16" wheels on the Abarth 500, but I didn't realise just how much better the car would be in comparison to the 17" upgrades. I recently bought a second hand set with standard Continental tyres for £150, and I would go as far as to say that they transform the car. The steering is brilliant! You can really play with it now, making it much more fun. There's virtually no roll either, as the car sits lower. It's amazing that such a good car can be ruined by fitting slightly bigger wheels. Thanks for the advice. I wish I'd acted sooner.

Many thanks for the confirmation. It was evident to all of us on the launch where we drove both so could make a direct comparison. Loved the standard car on 16" wheels. But the Essessee kit left me cold. Best thing about that is the wooden crate it comes in.
