Seat Ibiza sale
Please can you give me some advice how to sell a black 2005 05 reg, 3dr seat Ibiza 1.4 Sport. I looked in Glass's guide and got an idea of prices trade and retail. I took car to 2 garages and was offered £2350 and £2000. Car fully serviced only 33600 miles, 1 owner, new tyres, cambelt replaced last year and CV boot this year (loads of speedhumps locally). Has a/c and 6 cd auto changer etc MOT and tax for another 6 months. I know garages have to make a profit but I feel they are really milking it. This car is surplus to requirements. I even phoned the dealer where I bought my latest car 2 yrs ago and where I would have been going back to for a new car in march 2011. I was told they weren't interested. I will not now give them my business for my next new car as they arent showing loyalty to me. 2 yrs ago I got £1500 for an 8yr old seat Ibiza1.4-Vibe so I can't understand why, when the 2nd hand car market is so strong, after the scrappage scheme that I am being offered peanuts. Please may I have your view how to proceed.
