Can the signal from my key fob be read by thieves from inside my house?

Can the key fob for my keyless entry Jaguar XF be read inside my house by thieves?

Not if you put the keys inside a signal blocking 'Faraday' bag, no amount of clever kit will be able to find and boost the signal to the car.
