Is an engine flush necessary for a year old car?
I have a year old SEAT Ibiza coming up for its first service, with 6500 miles completed. The SEAT garage have asked if I would like an engine flush as it 'improves mpg etc'. I am of the opinion that one is not required. What are your thoughts, please?

A fuel system flush, yes. Then start using super instead of ordinary petrol so you won't ever need one again. An oil flush isn't necessary and could even be harmful at a first service.
