I had an accident due to safety issues with my Audi A3 - what do you advise I do?
I had an accident whilst driving my Audi A3 and have now received a letter regarding a safety recall for NOx emissions. The letter states that until the safety modification has been carried out, I must adjust the speed in advance to suit the visibility and weather. I truly believe that the accident occurred due to a fault with the car. Please advise.

Strangely, this is not on the official DVSA Vehicle Safety recall list (even though it is a Worldwide recall). But because the letter admits a possible fault with the system you have the evidence to take your case to Audi, to your insurer and to Small Claims if necessary.
