Since ordering our MINI, the spec has changed - can we reject the vehicle as it was mis-sold to us?

My wife ordered a new MINI in June, for delivery in September. The vehicle includes both the Chili and John Cooper Works packs which, at the time of order, included the Anthracite Headlining and the JCW Steering wheel. The MINI has had a minor internal refresh last month and the two options above have now become chargeable (£75 for the wheel, £120 for the headlining). I've asked the dealer to check that the vehicle does indeed include these options (as they were included at the time of order) but he has replied saying the vehicle does not have them and was confirmed for production 10 days ago, which means no changes can be made. Where do we stand with this? Could we reject the vehicle as mis-sold? Obviously don't want to fall out with the dealer but my reasoning is that they probably knew a change in the spec was coming and should've advised us of such as, chances are, we would've probably paid for these options if given the choice.

That leaves an unpleasant taste in my mouth, but it is not grounds for cancelling your order (Johnson v HWM Kingston County Court 2007). It is, however, grounds for subtracting £75 and £120 from the price you agreed to buy the car for, even if you had negotiated a discount, because you are simply not getting what you had negotiated to pay for. If the dealer is not happy about this, give him the option to keep the car and refund whatever deposit you made.
