How do I know which biodiesels are suitable for my 2004 Skoda Octavia?
I have found the Volkswagen biodiesel statement online dated 3 March 2010. In that it states the Octavia 1 (1u) is approved on B100 RME biodiesel up to production week 26 of 2006. I am considering buying a Skoda Octavia (04) 130bhp. On first glance and subject to Volkswagen conditions, it looks like it is covered. However, on checking, I noted the Octavia I am looking at is the 130bhp and of the PD variety whereas the 110 bhp is the TDI non-PD version. Is it all PD engines that are no good with B100 bio or just some of them? This is the link: www.volkswagen.co.uk/assets/common/pdf/general/biodiesel.pdf
