Should I buy a diesel Nissan Qashqai for 13,000 miles a year?

I am looking to buy a new Nissan Qashqai and I wondered if it's better to buy a diesel or petrol version. My average mileage is 13,000 per year.

You are on the cusp of diesel, but from September all Qashqai diesels, including the 1.5, have diesel particulate filters so could be vulnerable to a succession of short runs from cold. If you can get a pre-September 1.5DCI without a DPF, no problem.
