My Ford Mondeo screeches under acceleration - why?

I have a Ford Mondeo 2-litre TDCi. I put some V-Power fuel in it last week and it started belching out black smoke and misfiring more than usual. On further investigation i noticed the large pipe near the left hand side had a split in it. I repaired the pipe and gave it a full service, and now under heavy acceleration I get a very loud screeching sound. Any ideas please?

Might be a damaged injection pump. Get it to a diesel fuel injection specialist.
