Our Vauxhall Zafira won't start if left for a few weeks - any ideas?
If my W-reg Vauxhall Zafira is not used for several weeks it is extremely hard to start. We have had a non-return value fitted in the fuel line as the local garage thought the fuel could be draining back to the tank, but this has made no difference. Some times it initially starts and then stalls, and takes a long time to get started again. The other thing we have experienced is a flat spot when accelerating.

It's possibly an air leak into the fuel delivery system.
