How do I access my Mazda 6's idle control valve?

I have a 2007 Mazda 6 2-litre TS with 44,000 on the clock, which has developed an erratic idle speed when first coming onto idle from higher revs. This then smooths out to a constant level and stays level from then onwards. I have heard that it may be the idle control valve, which needs cleaning out. Is this correct and whereabouts would I find the valve in question? Also, have Mazda 6s always been very light on the steering and have there ever been any reports of rear wheel camber defects on this model?

I suggest that you get a workshop manual before you start attempting home mechanics, as the systems on cars are rather complex. Once you have this you will see what exactly you have in your fuel system and how to maintain/repair it. As for the rear wheel camber defects, no I've not heard of any such thing.
