Does my 1998 Ford Escort have a cam belt-driven water pump?

Could you tell me if the water pump on a 1998 Ford Escort Finesse 1.6 is cam belt-driven? I am no mechanic, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could you not just look at the engine and see which belt is driving the water pump? It would not be the cam belt, but a belt that drives the alternator as well as the water pump.
