The emissions 'fix' made my Tiguan worse - how do I take action against Volkswagen?
My Volkswagen Tiguan has been back to Volkswagen 3 times now for being noisy following the emissions fix and they are telling me that there is nothing wrong with it. I have searched the internet and can not find much information on the subject apart from your '8 Reports of Tiguans loosing power after EA189 Emissions Fix'. However, under this heading there are over 80 comments by others that have similar problems following the fix and many comments that Volkswagen are telling the same story, "that yours is the only one".
Also we are all being told that this is only a simple 'fix' of taking the software cheat out. However, it is a very complex mapping session that is adjusting air flow, fuel and NOx emissions ratios controlling EGR valves, fuel rails, temperature controls, etc. Where do we go from here and do you know anyone to contact who can shed any light on this fix or how to promote our plight to getting it published to warn others not to have the fix?

Volkswagen 2016 UK sales were down 16,756 units on 2015 largely because, though the market expected Volkswagen to sort the cars out quickly and effectively, they haven't and the company simply goes into denial about the issue. The simple answer is for disgruntled owners to get together and take class action against Volkswagen UK, Audi UK, SEAT UK and Skoda UK. Two links to firms of solicitors involved in this are: www.leighday.co.uk/Illness-and-injury/Defective-pr.../ and www.attwoodsolicitors.co.uk/vw-group-litigation/?g.../
