Is it worth getting a Superchips Bluefin remap of my Ford Focus 1.5?
I'm looking at getting a Superchips Bluefin remap for my new 2016 Ford Focus 1.5 EcoBoost, 147PS with 2600 miles on the clock. The remap boasts a 47PS and 63Nm torque increase, although I'm well aware that these figures are likely to be slightly higher than what I will receive.
My question is simply do you think it's worth doing? I know that this will void certain parts of my warranty through the dealership, however having read the warranty SuperChips offer it seems to cover damage caused by the remap if the manufacturer's warranty "does not respond".

SuperChips is probably the best, and the advantage of Bluefin is that it can be unplugged for servicing, etc., leaving no 'ghost trace' in the ECU. But you still have to disclose it to your insurer because if you have a bad smash and are physically unable to remove the Bluefin your insurer will void the comprehensive part of your policy.
