Are used car prices likely to drop significantly after Xmas?

I am looking to buy a 2010 plate Hyundai Santa Fe and wondered if I should wait until after Xmas? Will prices drop as dealers look to keep their cash flow going in the quiet post-Xmas period?

For the past 25 years, used prices have risen sharply in January. In anticipation, 20 years ago, one very big used dealer started buying heavily in November when prices were rock bottom and others followed suit, pushing up prices in December, so the lowest price point of the year is now last week of October and first week of November. 4x4 prices are heavily weather dependent. if we get snow, they shoot up.
