HPI history checks - is there a record of all checks on a car?

I'm selling my car and have had a number of different dealers give me a value for my car. One dealer said he had seen that others had carried out HPI check on my car and asked what their offers were. I wasn't aware that the HPI check would show there were previous checks Do HPI checks show this?

If a dealer makes an HPI check there will be a record of it because he has to pay for it.
