Need a used saloon for £6000 - any recommendations?
I'm looking to buy a new car to replace my ageing Toyota Avensis saloon. My commute is around 300 miles per week and I'd like a five-door saloon, with a few mod cons - sat nav, Bluetooth etc - and low road tax. I have around £6000 to spend, but can increase my budget for the right model. What do you recommend I buy?

Still only 10,000 miles a year so better petrol then bringing a whole heap of expensive trouble buying a diesel. And better new aftermarket sat nav like TomTom or Garmin than the type of factory fitted nav that will be in a £5k-£6k car and is expensive to update. Toyota Yaris 1.3 perhaps, Ford Fiesta 1.4, Mazda 2 1.3, Honda Jazz. Not anything VAG
