I have owned my current car, a Rover 75 2.5L V6, for 10 years and have found it be extremely comfortable and trouble-free. However, now that I have retired, I feel a change is due and I would like to purchase a recent secondhand car of similar class, quality and comfort. I could indulge myself and go for a Jaguar XF, but with a budget of £20,000 to £25,000 I may be somewhat restricted. My annual mileage would be quite low, about 3000 to 4000 miles per year maximum. Ride and seat comfort would be essential and small wheels (17-inch) with deep profile tyres would be preferred, in order to handle the rougher roads of the New Forest and East Dorset. Any suggestions?
