Automatic door locking system on a Mervia - what is this problem?
I have a Vauxhall Meriva 1.4 2010 plate. The dashboard 'Automatic Door Lock System' (door with a key) image is lit up and it is constantly beeping. It stops beeping once the child locks have been put on but the dashboard image remains lit. Whilst driving you can hear the central locking system activating. Mainly whilst driving slowly. I have read the manual but it has very little information on what the cause could be. Any help would be appreciated.

What must be happening is that the anti-hijack door locking system is malfunctioning. This is the system that automatically locks the doors once the car is moving. You could try calling in a local 'car electrical specialist' (www.yell.com).
