Car written off by insurer - What are my options?
My car was written off after it was involved in an accident. The cost to repair £16,000 and the insurance company says it is beyond economical repair. However, the write-off value is less than replacing my car with a similar car. What should I do?

They have to give you 'market value'. If you think they haven't, then you have to prove it with documentary evidence that you cannot replace your car for the settlement offered.
