Which Volvo would you recommend?

I wanted to ask your opinion. I owned a series of Volvos (940, V70T5, V70D5) which I loved, particularly for the comfort when driving long distances. I have since owned a couple of BMW F11 Tourings (520D and 535D) but I cannot get along with the latest BMW which has sports seats and leaves me crippled after 40 minute journeys. I have decided to go back to Volvo and have seen a V70 with the spec I want and which would be perfect for my needs. But, I am wavering on buying an XC70 or XC60 instead. Which would you prefer for long distance motorway journeys (upto 300 miles at a time) and why?
