Selling a used car - does the seller have to disclose every fault?
When selling an old/cheap car privately, is the seller obliged to disclose every single fault even if the car is, say, 13-15 years old and only for sale for around £1000? To put it another way, surely at that age/value certain faults should be accepted?

If he's a dealer, yes. If he's a private vendor it depends how he described it in any advertising. If described as "good condition" and there were faults not immediately obvious then that could be grounds for a small claims case for breach of contract.
