Recall for new DPF and parts on six month old car?
Booked my Nissan Juke 1.5 DCI in with a franchise for a handbrake adjustment, and dealer said they'd need it longer so as to carry out an engine management re-map, fit some new parts including a DPF as part of an upgrade requested by Nissan.
I find the move strange as I have no issues over a choked DPF, but am more concerned as to any impact on performance or economy. The dealer has been non-committal on this.

This is a new one on us. It's what's called a 'Technical Service Bulletin' and possibly an effort by Nissan to voluntarily stay within NOx test boundaries; something that VAG has told VAG owners it will do, but is being a bit slow in meeting its promise.
