Which SUV is most economical?

We currently have a 2015 automatic Mitsubishi L200. The fuel consumption is awful (max 30mpg). I do around 20,000 miles per year and would like something that sits high, is good on country roads and in and out of town but will give us better fuel consumption. Needs to have isofix too, any suggestions?
